Wilson's Neumarkt finish 1st in A2

9HM would like to congratulate client Rob Wilson after the Canadian’s team Neumarkt Egna finished top of Italy’s A2 on Sunday.

 

Neumarkt have surprised Italian hockey, seeing off strong favourites Milano Rossoblu to finish top after the Wild Goose came second last season to HC Gardena.

 

In Wilson’s second season in Italy, the former Great Britain assistant coach has took Neumarkt from bottom in 2009/10 to league champions within two years.

 

Prior to joining Neumarkt, Wilson had coached the Newcastle Vipers of the British Elite League for eight years where he won the EIHL playoff title in 2006.
