Ryan Crane is an offensive defenceman who makes good decisions and can read and understand the game very well. A player that possesses a very good slaphot which can be used very effectively on the powerplay from the point, Crane also takes pride in his defensive awareness at both ends of the ice and is a leader on and off the ice.
