Colin Shields is a natural center who possesses explosive speed, good hands and a eye for the goal. Shields is a very effective player on special team and can be used as an alternative point man on the powerplay due to accurate slapshot. A leader on and off the ice, Shields brings a wealth of experience having played in the North American minors as well as the UK and France.
